Cyclocross Nationals 2010
December 8-12, 2010
Sign up for the 2010 Cyclocross National Championships open today Oct. 12. Are you ready? This year there will be a TT (time trail) to determine start positions for those not getting call ups. Read some pros and cons about the TT, here. The TT will be held at a separate location. This will cause some of you racing two categories to choose which event is most important. This map shows you the location of the TT, (point A). The TT will be located in the empty lot behind Summit High School in the Northwest Crossing neighborhood. The scoop I got from an REI employee is that it’s the location of a weekly MTB race series. Mostly rolling sage brush riding with some loose sand but mostly hard packed dirt. No grass and probably one run up. They said it would most likely be a fast course, based on what the weekly races are like.
The distance between the TT course and the race course (point B) is roughly 2.9 miles.
