Here are the current results from the One of Seven Project Arizona Trail Rider Survey. The point of the survey is to help others. Not everyone who approaches the sport has the same level of knowledge.
Ultimately anyone looking to ride/race the AZT should do what works for them, but some times those with less confidence or knowledge look to others to confirm their own choices. If you’re one of these individuals, hopefully this survey will do just that or possibly make you rethink your current approach. Checkout our article on the Most Common Mistakes Bikepackers Make to further help with your decision making process.
The survey is pretty comprehensive but let’s face it, if it wasn’t what would be the point of it. Almost all the questions asked are questions you will find being asked in numerous forums across the internet. Finding those answers in forums can be hard and time consuming. Another goal of the survey was to gather all those questions and answers into one location.
The last goal was to help others by breaking down barriers and helping get them outside bikepacking.
