SportMulti Review

A while back a friend gave me a bottle of SportMulti.  He designed it himself based on his needs as an adventure racer and competitive athlete.  He wanted to make a multi-vitamin that stepped up to the challenge of keeping high level athletes performing at their peak.  After hundreds of hours of research, trails and testing, SportMulti was born.

Growing up with the idea that you went to the doctor only when you were on your death bed or close to it, taking vitamins wasn’t high on our household’s to do list.  So when he gave me a bottle to try, I half heartily gave it a shot.  Being that I didn’t take them regularly, I wasn’t getting the most out of SportMulti.

Then one day on the verge of a cold I vowed to start taking my vitamins.  I took them everyday – twice a day.  I was training more so I generally felt better.  Then a while later I ran out of SportMulti.  About a week or two later I noticed I felt flat, didn’t have that pep, and didn’t appear to be recovering as fast.  Finally it clicked, I wasn’t getting the level of vitamins and minerals my body was used to and secondly needed.

I got online and ordered another bottle.  After another week of taking the SportMulit I noticed better recovery, more pep, and I had my snap back.  What I like about SportMulti is I can take one supplement and get everything my body needs without things it doesn’t.  It’s simple (yet complex) and effective. A lot of other brands add things your body doesn’t need or they fail to deliver the essential amounts of things you do need as a competitive athlete.
Here are just a few details about SportMulti:

  • Complete Vitamin & Mineral profile (ex: how many other products contain vitamin K that is essential in the regulation of bone formation?)
  • Can replace all your other individual Vitamin and Mineral supplements
  • GMP Certified (Food and Drug Administration’s current Good Manufacturing Process regulations, ensures WADA, USADA, UCI, IOC, and USAT compliance)
  • Naturally Sourced (vitamins and minerals come from natural sources, none are synthetically derived)

We created SportMulti® as our first FTM Brand® supplement product for two main reasons. First, we believe that the right multivitamin and mineral supplement should be at the core of every athlete’s nutrition plan. If you could only take one supplement, it should be a multivitamin and mineral complex as long as it’s the right one. That leads to our second reason. We wanted to offer a simple but yet effective multivitamin and mineral complex that was complete, high potency, naturally sourced, and used the most bioavailable forms of nutrients. Nothing else should be added to ensure you get the most powerful multivitamin-mineral blend per capsules. Other nutrients, if needed, should be obtained from food sources or other products. To be effective, a good supplement should only contain vitamins or minerals, period. Simple but hard to find on the market today, until SportMulti®. -Feed the Machine

One side effect of SportMulti that is less than desirable is the fact it turns your urine bright yellow, as is the case with a lot of multi-vitamins.  If you’re not good at judging how well your hydrated without having to look at the color of your urine, you are in trouble.  If you’re drinking the levels of water you should, the color will come back to normal by midday.

What’s in it you ask?  Good question.

Overall:  I think SportMulti does as it claims.  It’s a simple effective sport supplement of naturally sourced vitamins and minerals that keeps up with the high demands of being a competitive athlete. I also like that it’s not the size of a horse pill like some supplements out there, making them easier to get down and that their natural sourced.

Thanks Scatman for taking the time to use, review, and reap the benefits of SportMulti. We love to here that we’re helping athletes meet their foundation nutrition needs. When you’re deficient in any vitamin, forget optimal performance. Regarding your “bright yellow” urine comment, note that you can still tell the difference between dehydration and some of your B-complex vitamins (which are water soluble) passing through. SportMulti will temporarily turn you urine “fluorescent” yellow which dehydration manifests itself with a “dark” yellow urine.
