Day 3 of NAHBS 2018 and there’s still more bikes to see and drool over. More amazing custom bikes with unique designs, amazing custom paint jobs, pieces of art from Ascari, infusion of old and new, today’s post has it all.
Tomorrow I’ll have the Best of Show bikes.
Olivetti Bicycles – Hailing from Boulder, CO Olivetti knows how to make a sweet looking 29er MTB.
Fat Chance Bikes – Fat Chance had quite a few bikes at the show but this one really stood out. They were simply told, “NO, pink” when it came to painting the bike.
Fifty One Bikes – Top: Flashy custom paint on a silk carbon road bike with matching floor pump. Bottom: Simple orange cyclocross with sleek seat stays.
Stinner Frameworks – The guys from Stinner came with a lot of bikes and they were all beautiful. Here we have a camo painted rigid single speed with custom tool pouch on the seat tube.
Sklar – A beautiful mixture of old school design with today’s technology on this steed. Ultra Romance and Sklar teamed up to build this steel nickel coated beauty.
Moots Cycles – Moots has done it again. This time they’ve came up with a 650B soft tail gravel grinder. Photos from top left: Soft Tail Gravel Prototype, Soft Tail description, Farwell, Routt 45, Routt 45 top tube showing anodizing available, RSL drop outs, and RSL down tube.
Parlee Cycles – This gravel/cyclocross by Parlee features an incredible circuit theme paint job.
Weis Manufacturing – Does this track/fixie not just scream speed? Checkout the off-set chain stays and that incredible custom paint job.
Vlad Cycles – The customer who requested this bike wanted to bikepack and do adventure riding. Note the double tube, clean and simple dropouts, and Vlad’s signature miniature bats.
Bespoke Bicycles Mosaic – The ultimate gravel bike. Mosaic’s GT2 is a clean and sleek. Ad the JPaks custom bags and you’re ready to travel.
Ascari Bicycles – With over 300 man hours into this bike, it’s hard not to call it art. Helio Ascari is a true artisan, and this “bike” proves it. The bars, fork, toe clips and seat tube are wrapped with leather. There are even 3 rubies inlaid on the bike.
Groovy Cycleworks – Retro Ti frame with ceramic paint. The accent shapes in the paint are either polished or brushed Ti so you can see both styles.
