Today was a day most spent in my head. I know, you’re thinking isn’t that what he must do everyday? Honestly some days or for most of a day I can turn it off and just motor along. Not today.

I planned to do around 25-27 miles and as the day went on I never thought it would happen. As it turns out I did 30.7. The day was mostly out in the open but luckily the sun was stunted by clouds or maybe smoke from fires. Speaking of fires I have one going now. Just felt like having one.

I met a ton of Flippers and some true SOBOs. Short Stack and Action, Andy and Leah, Memphis, Blue Jay, Veggie, Jeff, E.D (Easily Distracted), The Darkness, Patrick and Jeanne, and Skallywag. I last saw E.D in the Gila, Slallywag on the way into Grants and Memphis in Grants.
