We slept in a field where the owner was known to shoot at strangers. Dan his friend said it was okay. Just mention his name and we’d be okay.
We ate junk food at the gas station then hitched to Pagosa. It took two hitches. Once there we hung at a coffee shop, Two Chicks and a Hippie. We were there till after noon. My friend Michele came and picked us up.
The rest of the day was a mix of town drama which I hate. It made my time in town not all that great but that’s life. Not much you can do about it.
I stayed at Michele’s place and met a bunch of her friends as she was having a house warming party. I was exhausted by 8:30. I made it to 9:23 and finally threw in the towel.
