Another late night. I guess that’s to be expected when you hike 25+ miles and don’t start till around 10:45 am.

I’m going to keep it short. Slept okay inside, not great. Shitty continental breakfast (Sorry Jill), surprises at PO (Thanks Jill!), long hike back to CDT on side trail, then…

Knapsack Col happened. Words can’t describe the beauty I saw today. This might be the most beautiful spot I’ve every seen. Yes I said it. Today topped the San Juan Mountains. This little 13.8 mile alternate was non stop beauty. I’m not sure the CDT can top it. Glacier is yet to come so we’ll have to wait and see.

Today was a good day to be alive if you were me. Even the sunburn I got can’t bring me down. It was that good.
