It rained a few times last night pretty good. Enough so it woke me up. The results of course was packing a wet tent in the am. I didn’t get 100 yards from camp before I got rained on for this first time of many.
The hike to Elkhart Trail Head was tougher than expected. I also some how got behind when I was the first one out of camp. This meant I had to chase. I finally caught Andy and Rafiki at Photographers Point.
Twinkle started hiking down without us knowing. When we got to the TH he had been there an hour. His girlfriend drove us to Pinedale. Once in town Andy and I got Mexican, Rafiki went to the brewery and Twinkle and his girl Subway.
Eventually we all stayed at a hotel, the Lodge at Pinedale. Laundry, showers and packing were done. Later everyone but Andy went to the brewery for dinner.
