Nineteen13 Travel Mug — 16oz- Basic (Finish options: Stainless, Pewter, Gold) $17

Test Period: 9 Months

I use the Nineteen13 Travel Mug almost daily — much to my diet’s and wallet’s displeasure.  It makes being green so easy, and my Starbucks hot chocolate stays warm to boot!  With these two factors alone, it’s become my go-to mug of choice.  I really like the 360 degree drink-thru lid and the fact that I can hold the mug in multiple ways. Another cool feature is that the handle is not attached on the bottle, which allows me to be able to hang it from my pants or hook it on anything I find — wherever I might be.

The Facts:

  • 360° drink-thru lid
  • Double wall insulation
  • Car-cup + bike-cage friendly
  • Stainless-steel outer body
  • Leak proof
  • BPA free
  • Lifetime warranty

“Travels Well. Drinks Easy.

By bike, by car or by bus, this double-wall insulated mug keeps caffeinated beverages safe and warm on those hectic a.m. commutes. The 360° lid twists open for instant drinking and spins shut for spill-proof transport.” -Stanley

Pros & Cons: Pros: Durable, multiple hand positions, easy to use, drink from, and clean. Cons: The inside liner is plastic, so it has a tendency to hold the smell of whatever was last in it (if not washed right away).

Overall: This is my second one of these mugs.  I left one at the races this spring and was lost without it.  I love this mug for its simplicity and functionality.  It keeps my liquids hot and does so without leaking.  I can’t say enough about this mug.

The good people at Stanley gave me 3 of these to give-a-way.  Here is how you enter to win.

There are several ways to enter and the more you do the better the odds:

  • “Liking”  both Stanley & Adventures of Scatman on Facebook, gets you one entry each
  • Follow @Stanley_PMI and @scatmanAT on Twitter, gets you one entry each
  • Leaving a comment on this post telling me you did the above two, gets you one entry
  • Finally all those on Twitter can tweet the following daily for the next week and you will get one more entry per day. That’s a possibility of 12 entries. I will pick three random winners next Tuesday.

I just entered the win a Stanley Nineteen13 Travel Mug from @stanley pmi on the @scatmanat website

Good luck!

Stanley rocks. We fill our supersize thermos with coffee the night before an early AM ocean swim, and its still hot and tasty pre AND post swim, allowing us a few precious extra minutes in the morning to sleep in. But I would love to add a smaller thermos mug to the family because the large thermos is a little hard to drink straight out of in the car.

I love mine. It’s great that it totally seals and becomes spill proof. My only complaint is that it’s not bike cage friendly as advertised. It fits in a bike cage king if but mine got dented when I put it in there. It probably works on some cages but not all. In my opinion this is only a minor problem and I think it’s a great product.

SO SO SO SO SO lame! At least comment on the product or ask a question. Did the review help you, did I leave anything out. I only bust on you because your my friend and I can. For those you might see me as mean, I’m not, just giving a friend grief for being lazy! ha

Ok, I will leave a real comment this time. Good description of the product. The stainless steel finish looks really sharp. How else can I say I would love to have one. Can you put it in a dishwasher?
