Today was easy hiking and had some amazing views. I slept well and the day started cold but without condensation on tent!

We didn’t hike very fast today but no one seemed to care. At just shy of 30 miles I’d say it was a good day. I had some personal things on my mind so I was in a quiet mood, unlike yesterday where I was a chatter box.

We hiked through areas that reminded me of the Sierras. Sparse trees, lots of rock, small lakes and high surrounding peaks. It was a nice change from the open rolling sage covered mountains from earlier.

My back is hurting so that’s it, plus it’s well past hiker midnight.
