Another morning without dew on the tent. I slept well but once I was moving I felt flat. My legs would eventually come around. It was the head that went flat later in the day.

Today was the toughest day of this section and hardest since the roller coaster out of Lima. The scenery was much nicer today though. It was kind like yesterday but more in the trees.

It was like 55 when we got up. The heat and lack of water later in the day really got me. I’m chugging water now even though I’ll be going to sleep very soon. The thunder jug will definitely be getting used tonight.

My phone finally ran out of memory. I had to erase some videos and pictures from earlier in the trip. I’ve taken over 4000 pictures and 340 videos.

Tomorrow we’re going into Darby, MT. I can’t wait to get a soda and some real food. I also need some supplies from the grocery store.

I can’t say much more as it was just a long, hot, dry day. Just one of those you put your head down and go.
