I can’t say I slept well last night. Maybe it was because it was the first night alone in a long time. Tonight is another solo night. Well if you don’t count the hordes of mosquitoes.

I woke up feeling good but by 11:30 am I was exhausted. I ended up taking a trail side nap. Because of the flies I didn’t actually fall asleep. It did refresh me a tiny bit.

I wish I knew what the issue was. I’m just wiped out. I can go down hill and walk the flats just fine. I just don’t have the lungs or legs to climb. It’s effecting me mentally too. My opinion is its the elevation and my lack of food. I tried my best today to eat my daily ration but I didn’t eat it all. By the time I get to camp I’m too tired to want to eat.

I saw a couple dozen dirt bikes today. One group played leap frog with me over and over. They were very polite when passing.

There wasn’t crap for water today either. I’m sure that didn’t help me. I tanked up before I got to camp tonight, so at least I’ll start the day with plenty.
