Drove from DGO to Riverton, WY

This was one long drive.  Lots of miles and time to think about anything and everything.  It was a relief to finally get out of the car and stand once we got to Riverton.  After that was how to drop the car off when the airport was closed.  Luckily there was a guy inside cleaning who let me in to drop the keys off and then gave us a ride into town.

We attempted to hitch out of town to Lander but no one was picking up two white dudes.  We were minorities in a vastly Native American area.  We walked to a gas station/casino and by that time it was already dark.  Our chances of a hitch were almost zero.  We finally gave up when I saw on Google that there was a campground directly across the street.  I don’t think it was open to the public but we walked in as no one was there to stop us and threw down.
